What we’ll discuss

Let’s talk through what your verification needs.

You do not need a finished inventory or a set of documents to make the first call. We’ll explore these topics together, work through any uncertainties and agree a practical next step.

Our conversation

Six topics we’ll explore together.

  1. Reporting purpose and timetable

We’ll discuss why you want verification, who will use the statement and when you need it. Together we’ll establish the reporting period and any requirements for standards, assurance or provider credentials.

  2. Organisation and boundaries

We’ll talk through your organisation, its sites and countries, and any recent changes. This helps us agree which entities and activities the verification should cover.

  3. Inventory and calculations

We’ll explore how you calculate your footprint, how far you have got and any areas you are unsure about. Your annual inventory does not need to be complete before we speak.

  4. Scope 2 and Scope 3 detail

We’ll discuss how you report purchased electricity and which Scope 3 categories you want verified. We can explore questions about supplier data, estimates and category coverage together.

  5. Supporting evidence

We’ll talk about where your data comes from and how records are held, such as invoices, meter readings, travel records or procurement data. We’ll agree what evidence is needed later; you do not need to assemble it for the first call.

  6. People and previous findings

We’ll discuss who is involved in your reporting and, if relevant, any previous verification findings. Together we’ll plan responsibilities and time for questions and corrections.

What happens next

Leave with a practical plan.

We’ll use the conversation to establish the proposed scope, timetable, responsibilities and fee. We’ll also explain how your free readiness review can use part-year or previous-year information when you commission verification.

You can ask questions and decide on the next step without obligation. If you proceed, we’ll agree the specific records and access needed; there is no need to send confidential inventory data with your enquiry.

Start with a conversation.

Tell us what you know so far. We’ll help clarify the scope, timing and next steps; you do not need all the answers before we speak.
